Pet Urine & Odor Removal in Las Vegas

Pet accidents happen in every home with a dog or cat. The stain on top is only part of the problem: urine soaks down through the carpet into the padding, and that’s where the smell lives. Triple J treats pet urine, stains and odors in carpet and upholstery across the Las Vegas Valley.
Why Pet Odor Keeps Coming Back in Las Vegas
In our dry climate, a fresh accident dries fast and the spot can seem to disappear. But as urine dries, it leaves salts and residue behind in the fibers and the padding. When that area gets damp again, from a spill, from mopping, from a cleaning that only wet the surface, or from a humid monsoon day, the odor comes right back, often stronger than before.
That’s why air fresheners and spray-on deodorizers don’t last. The residue has to be broken down and removed.
How We Treat Pet Urine and Odor
- Inspection. We find the affected areas first. Urine often spreads wider under the surface than the spot you can see.
- Pre-treatment. Each spot is pre-treated to break down the stain and the odor before cleaning.
- Deep cleaning. Our truck-mounted hot water extraction and Rotovac power wand flush the carpet and pull the residue out.
- Deodorizing and sanitizing. Included with every carpet cleaning.
- Protection (optional). A carpet protector helps future accidents bead up so you can blot them before they soak in.
Honest Answers About Severe Odor
Cleaning removes most pet stains and odors. But if urine has soaked through the padding into the subfloor, or a pet has used the same spot again and again for years, cleaning the carpet alone may not remove every trace of the smell, and the padding may need to be replaced. We’ll tell you what to expect before we start. Our guarantee stays the same: if a spot can be removed, we’ll get it out.
What to Do Right After an Accident
- Blot, don’t rub. Press a clean, dry towel on the spot until it stops picking up moisture.
- Don’t soak it. A little water to rinse is fine; flooding the spot pushes urine deeper into the padding.
- Skip the heat. Don’t use a household steam cleaner or hair dryer on fresh urine; heat can set the stain and the smell.
- Avoid ammonia cleaners. They smell like urine to a pet and can bring them back to the same spot.
- Call us if the smell lingers. A smell that returns after a few days means residue is still in the padding.
Pet Hair and Odor on Furniture
If your pets share the couch, the odor may be in the cushions too. Our upholstery cleaning includes deodorizing for fabric and leather furniture.
